I am proficient in developing new lessons and activities to expand learning opportunities, and in giving conceptual knowledge. Additionally, I provide individualized instruction to ensure that all students maintain their expected skill level. I am also responsible for identifying and organizing field trips to enhance the curriculum. Furthermore, I meet with parents to discuss progress and address any behavioral or mastery issues. I approach tutoring in such a way that I show the students the basics, and then give them a variety of practice exercises and urge them figure out the answers themselves. If in doubt, I would keep prompting them to find the right answers thereby helping them to grasp the right concepts. Read less
