Hello! My name is Peyton and I graduated from the University of Toronto in 2020. I started tutoring for university level Calculus and Linear Algebra in 2017 and I became a Teaching Assistant (TA) at the University of Toronto in 2018. I have worked/am currently working as a TA in three departments at U of T - Mathematics, Statistics, and Management. I taught 8 courses in the span of 2 years across 3 departments. The courses that I taught at U of T are as follows: - Linear Algebra I (MAT223) - Calculus for Life Sciences (MAT134) - Calculus and Linear Algebra for Commerce (MAT133) - Introduction to Applied Statistics (STA258) - Statistics with Applied Probability (STA215) - Introduction to Probability and Modelling (STA107) - Operations Management (MGT374) - Analysis for Decisions and Control (MGM301) I received positive feedbacks from students throughout the years and I am very confident in my teaching experience. I customize the materials for my students based on their needs and goals; I also use a lot of examples that textbooks might not mention (but crucial for consolidating concepts) to explain. I customize the materials for my students based on their needs and goals; I also use a lot of examples that textbooks might not mention (but crucial for consolidating concepts) to explain.
