Hi! My name is Clara. I'm 24 and I recently moved to Hong Kong from Germany. I would love to help you reach your language-learning goals.

I am a fun and patient teacher who pays attention to details. I help students feel comfortable speaking simple German phrases, and together we will build confidence before diving into German grammar. I am very empathetic and can assist you in finding your personal learning style.

I hold a university degree in the humanities as well as a translation degree, which enables me to assist you with academic writing. Recently, I became a certified language teacher with a TEFL certificate. Up to now, I have worked with adult students from Korea, Vietnam, and Afghanistan. I have also worked with teenagers in an international study group, and, of course, with young students.

Having learned five languages myself, I know that immersion and daily usage of a language is what will make you proficient. I can help you reach a level where you can understand German materials and conversations effortlessly, and learn from them.
