My name is Archie, and I recently sat my A-levels. Therefore, I have crucial firsthand experience from the first set of exams taken after COVID restrictions eased. During my time at Dulwich College, I served as the Head Boy and constantly engaged with younger students, often tutoring them. Moreover, I have been active on online tutoring websites in London for a couple of years, which has provided me with significant experience using platforms like this one. I graduated with A*s in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics at A-level, and achieved an A in Chemistry. In 2023, I will be attending Durham University to study Engineering.

Throughout my academic journey, I actively participated in additional Maths and Physics competitions, such as the PYMT and the UKMT. These experiences serve as a testament to my passion for these subjects. Despite having multiple extracurricular activities, I have always managed to stay on top of my studies. Being punctual and hard-working allows me to effectively balance all aspects of my life.

My priority is exam-style questions, so when starting a new topic like algebra, the student would begin by explaining what they don't understand. I would then proceed to explain it and provide an example answer to a question myself. Afterwards, I would ask the student to take the lead in answering the question, with my assistance whenever necessary. As we continue to practice together, the goal is for the student to gradually become more independent in solving the questions. Read less
