Hello potential students, I'm Isaac, year 2 student in MBBS(HKU). I love Physics and Chemistry thanks to my secondary school teachers who made every class and lab fun and interactive. It is a pity that class is now suspended, therefore I strive to make my tutorial fun.
I have experimented in integrating multimedia lesson materials awa interactive softwares like OneNote, Notion and Anki, and the outcome are positive. Students find my class to be interesting and rewarding at the same time, and several of my hardworking pupils have improved from D in first term to B in final in a short period of one month I tutor them. But the nicest thing is seeing my pupil from hating this subject to loving it(or hate it less haha)
Besides the passion, there would definitely be more offered in class. Not only did I graduate Secondary school with public exam result of 4x5**(Maths core and M2, Physics, Liberal Studies), 3x5*(Chemistry(careless mistake, ouch) Biology, English) and a 5(Chinese) which converts to 4*56(=A*), 3*52(=A~A*) and one 48(=A) in UCAS tariff point. In chemistry in particular, I am also a two-time ANCQ(Australian National Chemistry Quiz) winner getting High Distinction in Year 10 and 11 with Excellent in Year 10, scoring 39 and 38/40. If you are always not so sure what you have to answer to get all the points even though you did your study, or you are sick of getting trapped by tricky chemistry questions too many times, I am here to offer tips for you.
HIGHLIGHTS:
1. Medical student who excels in HKDSE and international science competitons
2. Use of Anki, OneNote, Notion and holding E-lab session in online learning environment ensure pupil's safety awa sustaining two-way learning
3. If requested, additional questions related to the topic we gone through can be given, I would try my best to help you check answer!
4. Zoom is definitely encouraged, but we can discuss f2f ala no one near your residence is infected and u wear a mask. Read less

As I've mentioned, Anki and OneNote will be the main tool of teaching in our class. I usually prefer a two-hour session over 90 min, given that usually first 45 min to 1hr would be going through lecture recap in ON.
Next, anki would be used to refresh ur memory, some lab may be performed(most chem labs are videos but phy labs are done by me), and question discussed. Finally it would be time to drill on questions and dev answering skills. If you have particular Qbank, plz let me know in advance. Read less
