I am currently teaching German and I am located in Mui Wo. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Business Enterprise Management at the University of Malta. Being born and raised in Luxembourg has allowed me to gain excellent language knowledge in German and French.

Hello, my name is Lisa. I have successfully completed my master's degree in communication studies in Amsterdam this year and will soon start my doctorate. Languages are my passion. I was able to improve my language skills primarily through my English language studies in the Netherlands and several stays abroad, along with obtaining various certificates. Additionally, I have studied translation studies with a specific focus on German, English, and French. I enjoy tailoring my lessons to meet the needs and requirements of my students. This can be discussed and evaluated during our initial session. I offer either one- or two-hour sessions, depending on the preference of the student. I have been providing tutoring services for 8 years now, mainly in German. I have taught children and young people ranging from 8 to 30 years old, from beginner to university level.

I have been teaching German full time from April 2023 and love every second of it. German has been a passion of mine for a total of 9 years now. I grew up in Denmark, which is geographically and practically the little brother of Germany. Learning the German language is a mandatory part of our education in Denmark. As such, I have studied German for many years. I can speak it and read it - much like a person from Ubon Ratchathani can speak both Thai and Isaan. However, I'm generally a grammar nerd, so I have a much more high-level understanding of German grammar than many other Danish people. In my home country of Denmark, I work as a psychological counselor for patients with chronic pain issues, and I also work in a residential institution for adults with developmental disorders. I'm currently on leave of vacation as I'm volunteering in a holistic rehab center on the island of Koh Phangan, Thailand. I've facilitated group tutoring at my own university for three years (including classes such as Social & Personality Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Work & Organizational Psychology). I have worked as a professional proof-reader to correct grammar, syntax and the structure of E-books about stress and mentoring. Before arriving in Thailand in October, last year, I was working in Tanzania, East Africa, as an English teacher in two different nursery schools. Currently, I am volunteering at a rehab center on Koh Phangan, which is why I seek to work online in my free time so that I can pay my rent.

I came to Hong Kong more than three years ago to undergo a Dual Apprenticeship Training Programme and am now currently enrolled as a student at CUHK. Since I have less opportunity to speak in my mother tongue in Hong Kong I would like to help you learning and mastering the German language, which can be very difficult for second or third language learners at times. I completed my high school diploma with excellent and good results in German and English and have experience with assisting German conversation and homework of fellow students at my university and am now looking to expand my student circle.
