| Tutoring Approach: | Believe that grasping technique is more important than memorising content, even though clarification of basic content is necessary to prevent conceptual errors. Tutor will assist student in analysing mistakes/questions that are often done wrongly and derive the respective learning skills/ techniques that can be inferred, as well as applied to future similar questions to prevent repeitive mistakes. Will not provide student with tests/additional homework as tutor wishes to focus on what student has on hand, and familiarise student with his/her school's learning style, as well as to prevent the student from being overwhelmed. Nonetheless, student can also suggest preferred tutoring approach to allow him/her to best maximise tution time, and be able to suit his/her needs. |
