| Tutoring Experience: | Though only 18 years old, I've started giving private tuition since Sec 3. I've taught/am currently teaching different students ranging from Primary to Upper Secondary Level. I can teach Primary English, Math, Science, Chinese; Secondary Math (both A and E Math), Science (mainly Chem and Bio). My previous Sec 3/4 tutee whom I taught A and E Math managed to pull her grades from E8 to A2. Though it was definitely hard work on her part as well, I believe I managed to help a little. |
| Other Topic: | Regarding my educational history, I'd been enrolled into the Gifted Education Programme in P4 and studied in Nan Hua Primary School. Then, I managed to get Top in Chinese for P4 and P6, and Top in Higher Chinese for P5. I got 264 (+3 for HCL) for PSLE. I went on to study under the Integrated Programme in Nanyang Girls' High School and graduated with a MSG of 1.18; I got A2 for Language Arts (a mixture of English and Literature) and A1s for the rest of my subjects (Triple Science, Math, Higher Chinese, Humanities). I went on to study at Hwa Chong Institution (JC) and took Biology, Chemistry, Math and Economics at H2 level, as well as Pharmaceutical Chemistry at H3 level (a higher level). |

| Tutoring Approach: | Some students may find it hard to do well in exams or think that they are not suited for studying, but I believe that as long as one puts in effort, he will definitely get back more than expected in return. I take a firm but friendly approach in tutoring and I expect my tutees to do homework assigned to them and focus during the tuition lesson. Occasionally, I may give pop quizzes or tests nearing an exam date. I focus on exam skills and try to help my tutees do their best in exams. |
