But after 3Months teaching her, her mid-term grades jumped from a tragic 28marks to a 58marks. That's about 100% improvement. I am familiar with the 'A' level Economics and GP syllabus; 'O' level English, E/A Math & Physics syllabus; PSLE English, Math and Science syllabus. Prior to giving full time tuition, I worked in the financial sector for several years, gaining experience and insights into the application of Economics in the corporate world. As a result, I am able to help most students attain an A grade in the subjects of GP and Economics. I have also accumulated 3 years of full time tutoring experience, keeping me up to date with the latest MOE syllabus and spotting trends in past year questions for English/GP/Economics. Concurrently, I have seen 3 batches of PSLE students through their Eng/Math/Sci exams with most improving 1-2 grades from their preliminary exams. In 2009, I had a p5 student from China who was totally unfamiliar with English. However, he managed to score an A in the 2010 PSLE for English, A* for Math and A for Science. I have also tutored students who had failed repeatedly to pass their p5-p6 school exams for (English/Math/Science) and helped them pass their school prelims, then go on to score at least a B for their weaker subjects in the PSLE.
